Azerbaijan outlines strategy to expand Turkic bloc into strategic alliance

Azerbaijan is advancing efforts to transform the Organization of Turkic States from a cultural association into a comprehensive regional framework covering political, economic, and security alignment. Speaking on Baku’s objectives, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev outlined plans to integrate transport networks and energy corridors across member nations, seeking to position the country as a crucial transit node between Europe and Asia.

Alongside economic and infrastructure integration, Azerbaijan is hosting diplomatic, religious, and interfaith summits to enhance the organization's international profile.
