At least five people have been killed and five others injured after an Amazon Prime Air cargo aircraft overran the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday afternoon.
The Boeing 767-300 flight, which originated in Puerto Rico, failed to stop at the runway threshold, striking several vehicles before catching fire. Local officials, including Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz, confirmed the fatalities during a news conference. Emergency responders transported five injured individuals to nearby hospitals, with three reported to be in critical condition.
