Ukrainian personnel urge reforms over frontline logistical and administrative issues
Ukrainian service members and commentators have raised concerns over supply chains, rotation policies, military awards, and mobilization fairness.
Ukrainian military personnel and commentators have detailed ongoing systemic challenges within the armed forces, urging immediate reforms across mobilization, logistical support, and administrative procedures.
Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel warned that active-duty troops face prolonged deployments without rotations, arguing that state policies currently favor civilian interests over service members. On supply chain management, drone company commander Yuriy Butusov reported a lack of institutional oversight for unit provisions, leaving unit commanders responsible for procurement.
Additionally, a recent report highlighted inequities in the military awards system, noting that commendations are frequently retained at brigade headquarters instead of reaching frontline troops. To address broader mobilization concerns, serviceman Pavlo Kazarin outlined targeted adjustments to military medical commissions and draft deferment regulations.
