Ukrainian strikes target Russian aerospace sites as eastern front clashes escalate
Ukrainian aerial strikes hit aerospace facilities in Samara and other Russian regions as heavy combat continues across the eastern front lines.
Ukrainian long-range aerial strikes have struck key industrial facilities in western Russia, hitting sites linked to space rocket manufacturer Progress and the Aviakor aircraft plant in Samara. Regional authorities and satellite imagery confirmed impacts on industrial complexes, while additional drone and missile activity was reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, including near the Savasleyka military airfield.
Meanwhile, intense ground combat persists along the front lines in eastern Ukraine, where the Ukrainian General Staff documented over 250 clashes within 24 hours. Heavy fighting focused on the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions, with Russian forces attempting to divide Ukrainian bridgeheads along the Oskil River and expanding tactical control south of Dobropillia.
