Ukraine claims a long-range strike in Siberia, while Bulgaria investigates a stray drone explosion and Russian bombardments leave three dead in eastern regions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that domestic forces conducted a long-range strike targeting an oil refinery in Tobolsk, Siberia, over 2,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Meanwhile, Sofia and Kyiv are investigating an uncrewed aerial vehicle explosion near a gas pipeline in Bulgaria, which entered via Romanian airspace. Defense officials in Sofia suggested the aircraft resembled models used by Ukrainian forces and likely went off course accidentally, though Kyiv maintained it did not intentionally target Bulgarian territory while confirming cooperation with Bulgarian authorities.

On the eastern front, Russian artillery and aerial bombardments killed at least three civilians and wounded nine others across multiple regions. Attacks severely damaged regional energy infrastructure, cutting electricity to roughly 99,000 customers in Chernihiv Oblast and accelerating the depopulation of the frontline town of Druzhkivka.
