Ukraine hit an oil facility over 2,500 km away in Siberia, while Russian bombardments killed three civilians and left 99,000 without power in Chernihiv.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that defense forces targeted an oil refining facility in Tobolsk, Siberia, located over 2,500 kilometers from the border. Zelensky stated that long-range strikes aim to show Russian citizens "the necessity of ending the war."

Concurrently, intensified Russian artillery and aerial bombardments in eastern Ukraine killed at least three civilians and wounded nine others, including children. Strikes on power infrastructure in Chernihiv Oblast left around 99,000 subscribers without electricity. In Donetsk Oblast, persistent shelling has severely destroyed the frontline city of Druzhkivka, where the population has plummeted from nearly 56,000 before the invasion to under 4,000 residents.
