Ukrainian drone strikes targeted the Yaroslavnefteorgsintez oil refinery and major retail distribution hubs across several Russian regions overnight.

Ukrainian drone attacks across several Russian regions have targeted both critical energy infrastructure and major commercial logistics hubs. Overnight strikes caused a fire at the Yaroslavnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Yaroslavl during what regional officials described as the largest drone raid on the area to date. Regional Governor Mikhail Yevrayev reported that four residents sustained injuries, with three requiring hospitalization.

In addition to energy assets, Ukrainian forces hit distribution centers belonging to major Russian retailers, including grocery chain Lenta and e-commerce platform Wildberries across the Moscow, Leningrad, and Tver regions. An earlier August 4 attack on a Wildberries facility in the Moscow region resulted in five fatalities. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed air defense forces intercepted 605 drones nationwide overnight.
