Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko accused NABU chief Semen Kryvonos of forgery before departing the country, while anti-graft agencies cited interference in major probes.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko signed a notice of suspicion against National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) Director Semen Kryvonos, alleging document forgery for financial gain and a sham adoption to evade legal liability. Shortly after publishing his video statement, Kravchenko reportedly left Ukraine in an official vehicle.

NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) denied that Kryvonos received official notice, framing the accusations as an effort to obstruct an active investigation into a criminal network involving current and former lawmakers along with senior officials from the President's Office. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged parliament to swiftly approve Kravchenko's dismissal.
