Ukraine targets Russian energy and logistics as Russian forces advance in east

Ukrainian drone strikes hit energy and logistics targets deep inside Russia, while Russian forces gain ground in Zaporizhzhia and near Pokrovsk.
Ukrainian long-range drones hit economic, energy, and military infrastructure deep inside Russian territory, impacting targets over 2,000 kilometers from the border. Attacks struck the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl, injuring four people, according to regional officials, while Ukrainian intelligence reported damage to refinery tanks and Russian FSB vessels in Kerch. Drone strikes also targeted commercial distribution hubs, including a Wildberries facility in Yekaterinburg and a Lenta center, threatening commercial supply chains.
Meanwhile, Russian ground forces maintained momentum along the eastern frontline, capturing new positions near Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia and advancing toward Dobropillia north of Pokrovsk. Reports also indicated full intelligence sharing between the United States and Kyiv has been restored.
