Kyiv hits a Siberian oil refinery over 2,500 km away, while Russian strikes inflict civilian casualties and blackouts across Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukrainian long-range strikes have reached deep into Russia, hitting an oil refinery in Tobolsk, Siberia, situated over 2,500 kilometres from the border. Zelensky stated that such operations demonstrate to Moscow the necessity of ending the war.

Meanwhile, Russian aerial and artillery bombardments continued across Ukrainian territory. Official reports confirmed at least three civilians were killed and nine injured in eastern regions, including Dnipropetrovsk. In northern Chernihiv, infrastructure damage caused power outages for approximately 99,000 customers. In Donetsk Oblast, intense shelling has severely impacted Druzhkivka, a key settlement in the Kramatorsk agglomeration, where ongoing fighting has reduced the resident population from roughly 56,000 before the invasion to under 4,000.
