Ukrainian air defense interceptor missile deliveries dropped to one-third of last year's levels while Kyiv fulfilled requirements to open four new EU negotiation clusters.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that international deliveries of air defense interceptor missiles to Kyiv fell to one-third of 2025 levels this year. Speaking during talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Zelensky highlighted the urgent need to secure additional interceptors to counter intensified Russian missile and drone bombardments targeting key strategic infrastructure.

Simultaneously, Kyiv reported progress on its European integration path, stating all required conditions have been met to open four additional negotiating clusters for European Union membership. To support Ukraine's economic resilience and military requirements, the EU disbursed a fifth tranche of €1.4 billion generated from accrued interest on frozen Russian central bank assets.
