Volodymyr Zelensky warned of a drop in air defense interceptor deliveries amid ongoing Russian attacks, even as Ukraine advanced EU membership talks and received €1.4 billion in EU aid.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that deliveries of vital air defense interceptor missiles have fallen to one-third of last year's volume, exacerbating vulnerabilities during intensified Russian missile and drone strikes. Speaking after talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Zelensky emphasized the urgent need for Western allies to replenish depleted stocks of air defense munitions.

Simultaneously, Kyiv reported progress on its European integration and financial support. Zelensky announced that Ukraine has satisfied all prerequisites to open four additional European Union accession negotiation clusters. In tandem, the European Union transferred a fifth tranche of €1.4 billion to Kyiv, funded by interest accrued from frozen Russian central bank assets to aid Ukraine's defense and budget stability.
