Ukraine reports a steep decline in air defense missile deliveries from allies while securing €1.4 billion in EU funds from frozen Russian assets.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that international allies have delivered only a third of the air defense interceptor missiles supplied during the previous year. The announcement comes as Russian forces intensify aerial bombardments across major Ukrainian cities and key ports. To address the shortfall, Zelensky held talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, focusing on securing additional interceptors, particularly American-built Patriot systems.

Despite military supply constraints, Kyiv reported progress on European integration, stating all required conditions have been met to open four new negotiation clusters with the European Union. Furthermore, the EU disbursed a fifth tranche of €1.4 billion derived from interest on frozen Russian central bank assets, earmarked to support Ukraine's defense procurement and economic stability.
