Local unrest grows in 's-Hertogenbosch over returning abuse convicts and asylum opposition, while FVD faces criticism for organizing a protest alongside neo-Nazi groups.

Municipal authorities in 's-Hertogenbosch report growing unrest in the Maaspoort neighborhood following demonstrations against two foster fathers convicted in June of child abuse who plan to return to the area. Separately, police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a June assault on a woman, which investigators suspect is tied to local opposition against a proposed youth asylum facility in the city.

Meanwhile, national political attention has focused on the right-wing Forum voor Democratie (FVD). An FVD representative is co-organizing an upcoming demonstration at the Malieveld in The Hague alongside far-right and neo-Nazi groups. The planned protest comes exactly one year after a violent far-right rally occurred at the same venue, highlighting increasingly visible connections between the parliamentary party and extremist groups.
