Serbian president promises financial aid during visit to Republika Srpska

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić visited Jezero in Republika Srpska, promising financial aid and criticizing foreign interference in the Western Balkans.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić visited the municipality of Jezero in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb-majority entity, Republika Srpska, promising substantial development assistance from Belgrade. Meeting local leaders and residents, Vučić emphasized Serbia's ongoing commitment to supporting Serb communities across neighboring Western Balkan nations.
During his address, Vučić warned against foreign diplomatic interference in regional affairs, drawing historical parallels to external intervention following the 1878 Congress of Berlin. He asserted that outside powers continuously attempt to limit Serbia's sovereignty and geopolitical influence. The visit underscores Belgrade's long-standing policy of providing financial and political backing to Serb-populated municipalities in surrounding countries.
