Russian bombardments killed at least eight people across Ukraine as intense clashes and Russian territorial claims continued along the Donetsk frontline.

Russian bombardments across several Ukrainian regions have killed at least eight people and injured more than 60, regional authorities reported. Ukrainian officials stated that approximately 180 drones targeted areas including Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Odesa.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, local emergency services documented five deaths and 16 injuries following dozens of strikes across multiple districts, such as Kamianske and Pavlohrad. Additionally, three individuals, including an eight-year-old child, were killed in a drone attack on a fuel station near Kryvyi Rih.

Concurrently, intense military engagements persist along the eastern front line. The Russian Defence Ministry asserted that its troops captured the settlements of Toretsk and Vasyutinske in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian military officials confirmed that fierce defensive fighting continues throughout the area.
