At least five people were killed and 16 injured after Russian forces launched nearly 60 strikes across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region.
At least five people were killed and 16 others injured following Russian attacks across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, according to local emergency services. Russian forces launched nearly 60 strikes targeting five districts in the central Ukrainian province.
The artillery and drone strikes caused widespread civilian infrastructure damage and triggered several fires. In the Kamianske district, bombardments resulted in three deaths and five injuries. A separate strike on Pavlohrad left two civilians dead and seven wounded, while additional casualties were reported in the Nikopol district, where rescue teams worked to extinguish blazes and clear debris.
Local authorities and emergency personnel continue rescue operations and damage assessments as Ukraine marks day 1,625 of the full-scale war.
