Five people died and 16 were injured after Russian forces launched nearly 60 attacks across five districts in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian military forces conducted nearly 60 attacks across five districts in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, according to local emergency officials. The bombardment resulted in at least five deaths and left 16 other individuals injured.

The heavy shelling particularly devastated the Kamianske and Pavlohrad districts. Three people were killed and five sustained injuries in Kamianske, while two fatalities and seven injuries were reported in Pavlohrad. Emergency responders also treated casualties in the Nikopol district while working to extinguish fires caused by the strikes. Ukrainian rescue services continue operations across the affected municipalities as military pressure remains high.
