Russian forces launched nearly 60 attacks across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, leaving five civilians dead and 16 injured, local emergency officials reported.
The casualties occurred primarily in the Kamianske district, where three people were killed and five sustained injuries, and in Pavlohrad, where two deaths and seven injuries were reported. Additional strikes hit the Nikopol district, damaging local infrastructure and starting several fires that emergency crews worked to extinguish. The heavy bombardments reflect the ongoing security risks facing Ukrainian communities near frontline areas.
