At least five people were killed and 16 injured after Russian artillery and air strikes hit five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over 24 hours.

Russian forces launched nearly 60 attacks across five districts in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour span, local rescue services reported.

The intensive bombardment resulted in five civilian fatalities and left 16 others wounded. In the Kamianske district, targeted strikes killed three people and injured five. Separate strikes on Pavlohrad left two dead and seven injured, while additional civilian casualties were recorded in the Nikopol area. First responders worked throughout the day to extinguish fires and clear structural debris across the affected communities.

The strikes reflect continued heavy operations in the region as the conflict marks its 1,625th day.
