At least eight people were killed and over 60 injured in Russian strikes across Ukraine as Moscow claimed advances in Donetsk.

Widespread Russian bombardments across Ukraine have left at least eight people dead and more than 60 wounded, according to local emergency authorities. The assaults involved approximately 180 drones targeting multiple territories, including the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Odesa regions.

In Dnipropetrovsk, regional emergency services reported five fatalities and 16 injuries after dozens of strikes hit several districts, including Kamianske and Pavlohrad. A separate drone strike on a fuel station near Kryvyi Rih killed three people, including an eight-year-old child.

Meanwhile, heavy fighting persisted along the eastern front. The Russian Defence Ministry claimed its armed forces seized the settlements of Toretsk and Vasyutinske in the Donetsk region, while Ukrainian authorities reported ongoing, intense defensive combat across the frontline sector.
