Russian strikes kill 15 near Kyiv as Ukraine condemns drone attacks

Russian forces launched fresh overnight missile strikes across Kyiv and its surrounding region, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens. Local military authorities reported damage across multiple capital districts, including Golosiivsky and Obolonsky, as well as the Bucha area, following air alerts warning of incoming ballistic missiles.

The attacks coincide with growing outrage over alleged Russian drone tactics in Kherson. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned a circulating video showing a remotely controlled drone targeting a civilian, accusing Russian soldiers of taking "pleasure in killing and abusing civilians."

In Middle Eastern developments, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that active discussions are currently taking place between Washington and Tehran regarding regional instability.
