Overnight Russian missile and drone attacks killed at least 22 people across Ukraine, while Moscow claimed territorial advances in Donetsk.

Russian forces launched a series of overnight missile and drone strikes across Ukraine, targeting the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Local officials in the capital area reported at least 17 fatalities and over 40 injuries following strikes that triggered widespread fires, with local authorities characterizing the bombardment as "one of the most tragic attacks so far."

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, nearly 60 strikes caused five deaths and 16 injuries. Among the casualties were three people, including an eight-year-old child, killed when a drone hit a petrol station near Kryvyi Rih.

Simultaneously, the Russian defense ministry claimed its forces captured the settlements of Vasyutinske and Toretsk in the eastern Donetsk region. Ukrainian commanders reported that heavy combat continues along the front line.
