Overnight Russian missile and drone attacks killed at least 22 people across Ukraine, while Moscow claimed territorial gains in the Donetsk region.

Overnight Russian air strikes targeting multiple regions across Ukraine have caused heavy civilian casualties and extensive infrastructure damage. In the Kyiv area, ballistic missiles and drone bombardments killed at least 17 people and injured dozens more, triggering widespread fires in the capital and its surrounding suburbs.

Further south, intense shelling and drone attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region resulted in five deaths and numerous injuries, including a fatal strike near Kryvyi Rih that hit a service station. Additional strikes targeted infrastructure in the Odesa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Meanwhile, on the eastern frontline in the Donetsk region, Moscow claimed its forces captured the settlements of Toretsk and Vasyutinske. Ukrainian forces acknowledged fierce fighting in the sector without confirming any territorial loss.
