Russian strikes across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region have left five people dead and 16 injured over a 24-hour period.
Russian military bombardments across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region have killed at least five people and injured 16 others over a 24-hour period, according to regional emergency responders.
Russian forces launched nearly 60 individual strikes targeting five separate districts throughout the territory. The heaviest casualties were recorded in the Kamianske district, where three people lost their lives and five others suffered injuries. In the city of Pavlohrad, strikes resulted in two deaths and left seven civilians wounded. Additional injuries and infrastructural damage were documented in the Nikopol district, where local emergency teams intervened to douse fires and clear debris.
The widespread attacks form part of intensified Russian shellings and drone barrages against Ukrainian settlements and regional infrastructure behind front lines.
