Russian forces launched nearly 60 strikes across five districts in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, leaving five people dead and 16 others injured, local emergency services reported.

The heavy bombardment impacted multiple administrative areas, with emergency crews responding to blazes and infrastructure damage. In the Kamianske district, artillery and drone strikes resulted in three fatalities and five injuries. A separate attack in Pavlohrad killed two individuals and wounded seven. Shelling also caused casualties and physical destruction in the Nikopol district.

Firefighters worked throughout the day to extinguish fires ignited by the strikes and clear debris from damaged civilian locations as rescue operations continued across the region.
