Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a US-backed 15-point peace plan for Gaza, stating troops will not withdraw until Hamas is genuinely disarmed.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected a 15-point US-backed Gaza peace proposal, insisting Israeli troops will remain in the enclave until Hamas is fully disarmed.

Speaking to his cabinet on Sunday, Netanyahu declared that "Israel rejects the 15-point document" recently endorsed by Hamas, emphasizing that the military "will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed."

The announcement underscores growing friction between Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump, who recently announced the framework. Despite the public disagreement and Netanyahu facing political pressure ahead of an upcoming general election on October 27, Israeli military strikes in Gaza have reportedly slowed following American influence.
