NATO holds maneuvers near Kaliningrad amid ongoing missile and drone exchanges

NATO forces led by the United States recently executed military exercises near Russia's Kaliningrad exclave, deploying American and Norwegian fighters alongside Polish ground troops and advanced reconnaissance aircraft. NATO described the maneuvers as routine defensive preparation.

Simultaneously, reports emerged alleging Moscow has constructed ten covert military sites near NATO borders equipped to launch long-range kamikaze drones. According to media investigations, several of these locations are actively utilized in attacks against Ukrainian targets.

Meanwhile, cross-border strikes persisted. Russian ballistic missiles hit Kyiv shortly after American envoys departed, resulting in two fatalities and six injuries, following a previous drone strike on a tobacco manufacturing plant. Ukrainian forces responded with drone attacks targeting Russia's Saratov region, leaving several people injured.
