Gaza City held a mass funeral for 112 airstrike victims, while Jordan warned of an 'imminent' Israeli takeover threat at Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa compound.

Mourners gathered in Gaza City on Tuesday for a mass funeral honoring 112 Palestinians whose remains were recently recovered from a residential block destroyed in a November 2023 Israeli airstrike in the Sabra district. Rescue workers identified victims from two extended families, including 44 children and 38 women, following a two-week excavation operation.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump's Peace Council announced that Israeli forces will not fully withdraw from Gaza until Hamas completely fulfills its disarmament obligations, following talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Separately, Jordan convened an emergency meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers, warning of an "imminent" threat regarding an Israeli takeover of Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa mosque compound. Amman cautioned that escalating incursions by religious extremists risk triggering a wider religious conflict.
