Hundreds gathered in Gaza City for a mass funeral after 112 bodies were recovered, while Jordan warned of threats to Jerusalem's al-Aqsa compound.

Hundreds of mourners gathered in Gaza City for a mass funeral honoring 112 Palestinians recovered from a residential block in the Sabra neighborhood following a November 2023 Israeli airstrike. Local rescue crews retrieved the victims, primarily women and children from two extended families, after a two-week excavation effort.

Meanwhile, Jordan called an emergency meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers, warning that government-backed incursions by Jewish extremists present an "imminent" threat to Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque compound and risk triggering a "religious conflict".

In a separate development, US President Donald Trump’s Peace Council stated on X that Israeli forces will not fully withdraw from the Gaza Strip until Hamas completes full disarmament, establishing conditions following discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
