Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu formally rejected a 15-point US peace plan for Gaza, stating troops will not withdraw until Hamas disarms.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has explicitly rejected a 15-point Gaza peace proposal endorsed by US President Donald Trump and accepted by Hamas. Speaking to his cabinet, Netanyahu declared that "Israel rejects the 15-point document" and confirmed that Israeli forces "will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed."

The announcement underscores an intensifying diplomatic rift between Washington and Tel Aviv. Although Israeli military operations in Gaza have slowed recently amid American diplomatic pressure, Netanyahu faces conflicting political demands ahead of Israel's national election on October 27. Far-right coalition partners strongly oppose concessions, while Washington continues pushing for a resolution. Separately, regional instability flared as Houthi forces claimed strikes against Saudi and Yemeni infrastructure.
