Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a US-backed 15-point Gaza peace proposal, stating troops will not withdraw until Hamas fully disarms.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected a 15-point Gaza peace framework proposed by US President Donald Trump, insisting that Israeli forces will not pull out of the enclave until Hamas is fully disarmed.

Speaking in televised remarks to his cabinet, Netanyahu stated that "Israel rejects the 15-point document" and confirmed the military "will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed." The refusal comes despite Hamas endorsing the proposal in late July and Israeli forces scaling back attacks under pressure from Washington.

The decision underscores deepening political friction between Israel and the US ahead of Israel's general election on October 27, leaving Netanyahu caught between far-right ministers opposed to concessions and American demands for a diplomatic resolution.
