Israel rejected a US-backed Gaza peace plan while launching strikes in Khan Younis and southern Lebanon amid heightened regional tensions.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu formally rejected a 15-point Gaza disarmament framework proposed by a US-led peace committee, alleging Hamas intends to stall military operations. Despite rejecting the plan, Israeli authorities authorized preliminary reconstruction efforts in southern Gaza.

Military activity escalated on several fronts. In Khan Younis, an Israeli airstrike killed a Hamas commander accused of plotting an attack. In southern Lebanon, Israeli strikes on Tebnine and al-Mansouri killed one person and injured 11 during diplomatic talks in Rome, with Israel citing Hezbollah ceasefire violations. Additionally, Iranian commanders warned of a firm response to foreign ground operations as the US highlighted economic pressure on Tehran.
