Israel has conveyed security concerns to Washington regarding a proposed Gaza peace deal, as military strikes continue across the enclave.

United States President Donald Trump is pressing Israel to accept a proposed Gaza peace deal, claiming Hamas has agreed to disarm. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not publicly endorsed the plan, and Israeli officials have formally conveyed "serious security concerns" to Washington.

A key impasse remains the sequence of military actions: Israel maintains its forces will not withdraw without verified disarmament, whereas Hamas demands a complete Israeli military pullout before surrendering weapons.

Simultaneously, military operations continue across the enclave. Palestinian officials reported that Israeli airstrikes over the weekend killed at least 17 people, including children, in Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Deir el-Balah. The Israel Defense Forces stated the strikes targeted military operatives.
