Israel has voiced formal security concerns over US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace proposal while deadly airstrikes continue across the enclave.

United States President Donald Trump is urging Israel to accept a US-brokered Gaza peace agreement following claims that Hamas has agreed to disarm. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not publicly endorsed the initiative, and Israeli officials have formally conveyed "serious security concerns" to Washington.

The primary obstacle remains the sequencing of actions: Israel insists its forces will not retreat without verified disarmament, whereas Hamas demands a complete Israeli military withdrawal before surrendering its weapons.

Meanwhile, violence continues across the territory. Palestinian officials reported that Israeli airstrikes over the weekend killed dozens of people, including children, in Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Deir el-Balah. The Israel Defense Forces stated the strikes targeted military operatives.
