Google Cloud outage in London disrupts European banks and online services

A power disruption at Google Cloud's London facility caused widespread operational issues for banks and digital platforms across Europe.
A power disruption at a Google Cloud data center in London triggered technical failures across Europe on Tuesday, affecting financial institutions, online platforms, and public services.
Google reported that multiple cloud infrastructure services in its "europe-west2 region" suffered elevated error rates and intermittent network failures. The outage caused disruptions for major British banks, digital fintech firm Revolut, and various corporate operations across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and continental Europe.
Google advised impacted clients to migrate workloads to alternative geographic regions while technical teams worked to resolve the issue. Operational restoration was anticipated by Tuesday afternoon.
