At least five people were killed and 16 injured following a wave of nearly 60 Russian drone and artillery strikes across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian forces launched nearly 60 attacks across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, leaving at least five people dead and 16 others injured, according to local emergency services.

The strikes, which involved artillery bombardments and drone attacks, caused casualties and widespread damage across the eastern region. The Kamianske district suffered the heaviest loss of life, with three fatalities and five injuries documented. In Pavlohrad, shelling resulted in two deaths and seven injuries. Additional casualties were recorded in the Nikopol district, where intense shelling ignited several fires.
