Russian attacks across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region have left five people dead and 16 injured, local emergency services reported.

At least five people were killed and 16 others injured following a wave of Russian bombardments targeting Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period. Local emergency officials reported nearly 60 individual strikes across five separate districts in the area.

The heaviest casualties occurred in the Kamianske district, where shelling left three people dead and five wounded. In the Pavlohrad district, Russian strikes claimed two lives and injured seven others. Additional casualties and structural damage were reported in the Nikopol district, where intense shelling ignited several residential fires. Ukrainian emergency crews deployed across the impacted zones to extinguish blazes and assist survivors while local authorities evaluate the extent of damage to civilian infrastructure.
