Five dead in Russian strikes across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian forces carried out nearly 60 strikes across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region within a 24-hour window, resulting in five deaths and 16 injuries, according to local emergency personnel.

The intensive bombardment caused extensive destruction across several municipalities. In the Kamianske district, artillery and missile fire left three people dead and five others wounded. Strikes on Pavlohrad claimed two lives and injured seven, while attacks on the Nikopol district disrupted vital utility infrastructure and caused additional casualties. Local fire and rescue crews worked throughout the day to extinguish blazes, clear structural rubble, and assist impacted residents.

This continuous shelling highlights ongoing hostilities affecting civilian areas in eastern Ukraine as regional emergency authorities maintain heightened operational alerts.
