Russian bombardments across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region left five people dead and 16 injured over a 24-hour period, according to emergency services.

Russian forces executed nearly 60 strikes across five districts in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region within a 24-hour period, resulting in five fatalities and leaving 16 individuals wounded, local emergency services confirmed.

The casualties were concentrated in several administrative areas. Three residents died and five sustained injuries in the Kamianske district. Additional bombardments in Pavlohrad caused two further deaths and left seven people injured. Several other residents were wounded in the Nikopol district, where heavy shelling targeted civilian infrastructure and caused extensive structural damage.

Emergency response crews were deployed throughout the affected districts to extinguish fires and search through damaged buildings. The intensive bombardment underscores sustained military pressure targeting regional centers across central Ukraine.
