Five people were killed and 16 injured following nearly 60 Russian strikes across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over 24 hours.

Russian forces launched nearly 60 strikes across five districts in Ukraine's central Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, killing five people and injuring 16 others, local emergency services reported.

The bombardments severely affected the Kamianske district, where three residents were killed and five others sustained injuries. In Pavlohrad, officials confirmed two fatalities and seven casualties. Additional shelling and drone attacks damaged infrastructure and ignited fires in the Nikopol district, where further injuries were reported.

Emergency response teams worked to extinguish fires and clear wreckage across the affected districts. Local officials continue to assess the scale of property damage as air defenses in the region remain on alert following the escalated bombardment.
