The EU has reimposed sanctions on Russian oil billionaire Mikhail Gutseriev alongside dozens of individuals, entities, and shadow fleet vessels.

The European Union has re-added Ingush oil billionaire Mikhail Gutseriev to its sanctions list as part of an expanded penalties package targeting Moscow.

Announced on July 23, the updated restrictive measures apply to 48 individuals and 35 organizations linked to Russia's military and economic apparatus. Furthermore, Brussels imposed new bans on nearly 100 maritime vessels alleged to be operating as part of Russia's sanction-evading "shadow fleet."

The latest EU sanctions package also introduces stricter controls on dual-use technology exports while targeting key players in Russia's energy and financial industries. Gutseriev, a prominent figure in the Russian energy sector, faces asset freezes and travel restrictions across member states under the updated regime.
