Russian missile and drone attacks across Ukraine killed at least 22 people in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, causing widespread fires and heavy destruction.

Russian forces conducted their third major missile and drone assault on Kyiv within a week, killing up to 17 people and injuring over 50 others across the capital and its surrounding region. Fires erupted in residential complexes, warehouses, and industrial plants following overnight strikes.

Beyond the capital, Russian strikes targeted multiple regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, where local emergency officials reported five fatalities and 16 injuries across five districts after nearly 60 bombardments. Attacks near Kryvyi Rih included a drone strike on a gas station that killed three people, among them an eight-year-old child. Additional strikes were reported in the Odesa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions, involving approximately 180 drones in total. Ukrainian local authorities described the aerial assault as one of the most tragic incidents recorded recently.
