Cross-border aerial attacks between Russia and Ukraine escalated overnight, leaving at least 26 people dead across both territories.

Russian ballistic missiles hit several districts in Kyiv and the surrounding region, including Bucha, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens. Meanwhile, Ukrainian long-range bombardments struck Russia's southern Krasnodar region, resulting in 11 fatalities. Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratiev condemned the attack, describing it as a "deliberate strike by the Kyiv regime against the civilian population."

In Kherson, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian forces of conducting a "human safari" after footage emerged showing a remotely piloted drone pursuing a civilian.
