Cross-border strikes escalate as drones hit Russian commercial sites and Bulgarian border area

Deadly aerial attacks escalate across Ukraine and Russia, while a drone explosion in Bulgaria near a key gas pipeline raises regional safety concerns.
Aerial strikes between Ukrainian and Russian forces continue to intensify across multiple fronts. In Ukraine, Russian missile and drone bombardments hit several regions, including Zaporizhzhia, where Governor Ivan Fedorov confirmed five fatalities and over twenty injuries. Russian attacks also targeted Kyiv and Kharkiv, causing casualties and residential damage.
Concurrently, Ukrainian long-range strikes targeted Russian commercial infrastructure. Drones hit warehouses belonging to e-commerce firm Wildberries, igniting a fire in Saint Petersburg and leaving at least five people dead in Moscow.
Additionally, an unidentified drone exploded near a gas pipeline in Bulgaria, close to the Romanian border, according to local reports.
