Bulgaria identifies downed drone as model commonly flown by Ukrainian forces

Bulgarian defence officials stated that a drone found in the country's northeast matches models used by Ukrainian forces, with no evidence of deliberate targeting.
Bulgarian defence authorities confirmed that an unmanned aerial vehicle discovered in the country's northeastern region corresponds to a model commonly deployed by Ukraine's military.
Officials clarified that preliminary technical assessments offer no indication of an intentional attack against Bulgaria. The aircraft crashed near critical energy infrastructure without causing injuries, explosions, or structural harm. Specialist teams continue to examine the retrieved debris to establish the craft's origin, navigation route, and the precise circumstances leading to its descent. Bulgarian security agencies remain in close contact with international allies while reviewing airspace monitoring protocols.
