Bulgaria continues probe into drone crash near gas pipeline

Bulgarian authorities are examining a crashed drone linked to Ukrainian forces, noting no evidence of intentional targeting.
Bulgarian officials are continuing their technical examination of an unmanned aerial vehicle that crashed near a natural gas pipeline in northeastern Bulgaria.
According to Bulgaria's Ministry of Defence, the recovered wreckage corresponds to a drone model frequently deployed by Ukrainian armed forces. However, defence authorities emphasised that current findings offer no indication that Bulgarian territory or critical infrastructure was deliberately targeted.
Sofia and Kyiv are maintaining coordination to verify the apparatus's flight path and the precise technical failure that caused the incident. The crash resulted in no injuries or damage to regional energy networks.
