Overnight Russian drone and missile strikes killed at least 23 people across Ukraine, while Moscow claimed the capture of two Donetsk settlements.

Overnight Russian missile and drone bombardments across Ukraine left at least 23 people dead and dozens injured, according to regional officials.

A major strike on the Kyiv region killed at least 15 residents, with local authorities calling it "one of the most tragic attacks so far." In Dnipropetrovsk, five people died and 16 were injured following nearly 60 separate bombardments. A drone attack on a fuel station near Kryvyi Rih killed three individuals, including an eight-year-old child. Ukrainian officials reported over 180 drones targeted multiple southern and eastern regions.

Meanwhile, Russia’s defense ministry claimed its forces captured Vasyutinske and Toretsk in the eastern Donetsk region, though Ukrainian military sources cited ongoing intense battles along the front lines.
